Multicultural communication in society

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komunikací mezi různými kulturami ve společnosti. Cílem bakalářské práce je zkoumání multikulturní komunikace, existuje-li nějaký rozdíl mezi chováním a komunikací. Zjistit, jaké podmínky multikulturní komunikace dávají možnost různým národnostem pocit komfortního působení jak v práci, tak i v celé společnosti. V teoretické části jsou popsané příčiny vzniku multikulturalismu a multikulturní společností a představiteli spojenými s multikulturalismem. V praktické časti je provedeno dotazníkové šetření ve dvou vybraných zemích světa mezi zaměstnanci různých kultur stejné firmy, kteří odpovídali na stejné otázky. Na základě dotazníku vyjasnit hlavní kritéria, která by mohly pohodlně působit na přijatelné podmínky komunikace nejenom v práci, ale i v celé společnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with communication between different cultures in society. The aim of bachelor thesis is to investigate multicultural communication, if there is any difference between behavior and communication. To find out what conditions of multicultural communication give the opportunity to different nationalities to feel comfortable both at work and in the whole society. In the theoretical part, the causes of the emergence of multiculturalism and multicultural society and representatives associated with multiculturalism are described.In the practical part, a questionnaire survey is conducted in two selected countries of the world among employees of different cultures of the same firm who answered the same questions. On the basis of the questionnaire, clarify the main criteria that could comfortably act on acceptable living conditions not only at work, but throughout society.
