Postmodern problems of human rights and global security

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku lidských práv jak v tuzemském,tak i celosvětovém měřítku a soustředí se na bezpečnostní hrozby na internetu. Diplomová práce dále upozorňuje na ohrožení globální bezpečnosti v souvislosti s pandemií SARS-CoV-2 a definuje zásah státní moci do běžného chodu země a omezení práv občana za použití krizového stavu. Diplomová práce identifikuje možná rizika a nebezpečenství z pohledu národních bezpečnostních složek. Práce ukáže celou škálu globálních aktivit, jako je obchod, peněžní transakce, komunikace, sdílení informací či kulturní prostředí. Práce shrnuje bezpečnostní normy, které jsou stanoveny zástupci státu a příslušnými orgány s ohledem na reálné hrozby. Řeší, jaká je připravenost na krizové řízení v České republice, jaký postup volí ve světě a jaké jsou dopady na lidská práva. Diplomová práce zmiňuje internetové prostředí a kyber prostor, které významnou měrou mohou poškodit lidská práva.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issues of human rights both inland and worldwide with the attention to the environment on the Internet. Thesis explores the endangerment of global security due to SARS-CoV-2 pandemic as well as the intervention of the state power in everyday operations and the restrictions of human rights in the crisis situation. The aim of the thesis tries to identify possible threats and danger from the point of view of the Czech security services. The thesis will show a whole range of global activities, business area, money transactions, communication, information sharing or cultural area. This thesis summarizes norms and regulations, which are set by the state representatives and those, who execute them, in comparison to the real threats and situations. The focus is on the quality of preparation for the crisis management in the Czech Republic and how it is solved world-wide as well as the impact of these aspects on human rights. The internet and cyberspace are mentioned as one of the significant tools that could threaten the functioning of the society and highly damage human rights.
