Analysis of the possibilities of savings instruments to the retirement and selection of unsuitable tools.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zkoumání platnosti zákona jedné ceny na finančních trzích s vybranými homogenními produkty. Cílem práce je na datech z vybraných oblastí finančního trhu v České republice kvantifikovat cenové rozdíly mezi produkty na trhu a z nich pak usuzovat na velikost transakčních nákladů, míru integrovanosti a konkurence na daném trhu a jejich vývoj v čase. Pro vyhodnocení výzkumu byly použity statistické ukazatele variační rozpětí, směrodatná odchylka a koeficient pořadové korelace. Zjištěné rozdíly byly vysvětleny pomocí tří faktorů, kterými byly zákazníky vnímaný rozdíl v hodnotě produktu, transakční náklady a neúplné informace na straně zákazníků. Získané hodnoty byly očištěny o možné odchylky, konečná částka v rozdílu cen byla stanovena jako residuum, neboli hodnotu není možné nadále objektivně vysvětlit.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on examining the validity of the Law of one price on financial markets with selected homogeneous products. The aim of the thesis is data from selected areas of the financial market in the Czech Republic to quantify the price differences between the products on the market and then to estimate the size of transaction costs, the degree of integration and competition in the market and their development over time. For the evaluation research were used statistical indicators of variation range, standard deviation and the coefficient of serial correlation. The identified differences were explained by the three factors which was customers perceived difference in the value of the product, transaction costs and incomplete information on the side of the customer. The obtained values have been adjusted for possible deviations, the final amount in the difference in prices was determined as the residue, or the value of it is not possible to continue to objectively explain.
