Accommodation during the examination of refraction of the eye, the effect on the measurement results

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou akomodace, resp. jejím vlivem na správné stanovení refrakce oka během vyšetření. Úvod práce je věnován podrobnějšímu popisu akomodace spolu s jednotlivými metodami měření. Další kapitola pojednává o charakteristice refrakčních vad včetně jejich specifik ve vztahu k akomodaci. Následuje popis objektivních a subjektivních metod určení refrakce a úplný závěr práce je věnován postupu refrakčního vyšetření.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is the accommodation or more precisely its effect on the correct assessment of the eye refraction during the medical examination. The introductory part of the thesis is dedicated to more detailed description of the accommodation as well as to particular methods of measurements. The next part deals with a characteristic of refractive errors including their specificities in a relation with the accommodation. It is followed by a description of objective and subjective methods used for determination of the refraction and the conclusion of this thesis is devoted to the process of the refractive examination.
