Identity, love and hate in the artnovelettes from Thomas Mann
Abstract:
The thesis discusses German writer Thomas Mann. The theoretical part deals with a selected period of his life and then deals with the beginnings of Mann´s output and also with the extraordinary relationship he had with his brother Heinrich Mann. The practical part analyses three of his novels in regard to identity, love and hate. All these three novels are then compared and contrasted.Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o německém spisovateli Thomasu Mannovi. V teoretické části se zabývá vybraným obdobím jeho života, poté se zaměřuje na začátek Mannovy tvorby a také na mimořádný vztah ke svému bratrovi Heinrichu Mannovi. V praktické části jsou analyzovány tři jeho novely z pohledu identity, lásky a nenávisti a poté jsou tato díla srovnávána.
