The particularity (meaning) of relations with parents in adolescence: an influence of mother as a key person on everyday practice

Abstract:

Anotace: Předkládaná práce se zabývá intrapersonální rovinou vztahu žen v období vynořující se dospělosti k jejich matce. Cílem práce bylo explorovat „mikroúroveň“ každodenního projevu zvnitřnělého vztahu. Ten se týká uvědomitelných připomínek reprezentace matky a společně sdílených zážitků na úrovni jednotlivých myšlenek, představ, očekávání a pocitů. Ke sběru dat byla použita metoda polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a též sledování a záznam o zkoumaném jevu, který prováděly samy respondentky. Získaná kvalitativní data byla analyzována na základě přístupu zakotvené teorie. Byly porovnány významné rozdíly mezi obsahem a funkcemi připomínek respondentek s jistou a nejistou citovou vazbou k matce. Byly kategorizovány jednotlivé typy připomínek reprezentace matky, funkce těchto připomínek a byl zkoumán kontext, ve kterém se tyto připomínky objevují. Na základě těchto poznatků byl předložen model procesu připomínání si reprezentace matky a byly též předloženy hypotézy, sloužící jako podklad případnému navazujícímu výzkumu.

Abstract:

Abstract: This study examines the intra-personal level of a relationship of women to their mother in the period of emerging adulthood. The aim of this study was to explore the micro-level of the everyday manifestation of the inner relationship to mother. This micro-level of the inner relationship is related to conscious reminds of the mother representation and shared experiences on the level of single thoughts, imaginations, expectations and feelings. The method of semi-strucured interviews and also self-monitoring was used for data gathering. Gained qualitative data were analyzed according to grounded theory. There were observed significant differences between the content and functions of reminds of the informants with secure and insecure attachment. Various reminds were categorized, their function and their context investigated. A model of the process of reminding on the basis of this knowledge was proposed, and also some hypothesis, which can serve as a base of the following research, were suggested.
