Abstract:
Práce se soustředí na operu Leoše Janáčka Příhody lišky Bystroušky. Její libreto bylo během posledních padesáti let čtyřikrát přeloženo do angličtiny, jednotlivé verze jsou tedy analyzovány a zhodnoceny s ohledem na funkci, ke které měl překlad sloužit. Abstract:
The thesis is concerned with Leoš Janáček’ s opera The Cunning Little Vixen. Its libretto has been translated into English four times during the last fifty years. Each version is thus analyzed as well as evaluated with regard to its skopos, and all the translational strategies are then compared.
