Abstract:

The thesis is dealing with the interpretation of the novel “Morbus Kitahara“ by Christoph Ransmayr. It is divided into four parts. The first part is focused on the author himself. The second one is describing the post-war history of Germany and Austria. The third part attends to the content of the novel. And the last one dwells on the interpretation of the novel from the view of the main characters. Then it also elaborates the theme of Victims and Perpetrators, parallels in the novel and also the interpretation of the illnes Morbus Kitahara.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá interpretaci románu “Morbus Kitahara“ od Christopha Ransmayra se zaměřením na analýzu vývoje hlavních postav. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. V úvodní části jsou zmíněna fakta o autorovi, v další pak poválečná historie Rakouska a Německa. Třetí část se věnuje obsahu románu. Poslední část práce se vztahuje na interpretaci románu z pozice hlavních postav. Dále pak zpracovává téma oběti a viníka, paralel v románu a v neposlední řadě také interpretaci nemoci Morbus Kitahara.
