Literary Cards - Author's didactic game on high school educational content of literature

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit autorskou didaktickou hru "Literární karty" zaměřenou na středoškolský vzdělávací obsah literatury. Primárně bude hra určena pro studenty 4. ročníku středních škol, abychom zajistili vstupní úroveň znalostí, které by ve hře měly být využity. Teoretická část bude zaměřena na to, že k osvojování učiva by nemělo vést pouze paměťové a mechanické kódování, ale je žádoucí konstruovat vědomosti i na jiných, např. herních principech. Dnes ve 21. století je také zapotřebí omezit vyučování jako "pouhý" transfer informací mezi pedagogem a studenty. Cílem praktické části diplomové práce bude představit autorskou didaktickou hru a její principy a podepřít principy a aktivity, které jsou ve hře uplatněny východisky z teoretické části práce. Na závěr bude v praktické části provedeno ověřování autorské didaktické hry a její reflexe.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis was to create an original card game "Literary cards", focused on the secondary education and its literature curriculum. Primarily, the game is meant for the students who are finishing their secondary education and to evaluate their knowledge in the field that is required for the game. The theoretical part will focus on the fact that not only memory and mechanical coding should lead to the learning of the curriculum, but it is desirable to construct the knowledge also on other, e.g. game principles. Nowadays, in the 21st century, it is also important to shift the general opinion of teaching as a mere transfer of information between teachers and students. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to present the author's didactic game and its principles, to support those principles and activities that are applied in the game on the basis of the information introduced in the theoretical part of the thesis. At the conclusion of the practical part, testing of the author's didactic game and its reflection is offered.
