The development of the customs administration of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku celnictví a vývoj celní správy na území České republiky. Cílem práce je představit vývoj celní správy, jako služby chránící ekonomické a bezpečnostní zájmy státu a posoudit vývoj zajištění této služby ve vztahu k vývoji prováděných činností. První část práce vymezuje základní pojmy, které souvisí s celnictvím, druhá část se zabývá vývojem Celní správy na území České republiky od období středověku po současnost. V poslední části práce je popsána Celní správa České republiky, vývoj personálního zajištění a vývoj vybraných kompetencí. V návaznosti na provedenou analýzu je v závěru práce poukázáno na určitý nesoulad ve vývoji počtu zaměstnanců celní správy ve vztahu k vývoji počtu ztrácených, a naopak získávaných kompetencí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on customs issues and the development of the customs administration in the area of the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe a development of the customs administration as a service protecting economic and security interests of the state and to assess the development of the provision of this service in relation to the development of activities. The first part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to customs, the second part deals with the development of the Customs Administration in the Czech Republic from the Middle Ages to the present. The last part of the thesis describes the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, the development of staffing and the development of selected competencies. Following the analysis, at the end of the work is pointed out a certain discrepancy in the development of the number of employees of the customs administration in relation to the development of the number of lost, and, conversely, acquired competencies.
