Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou návrhu a implementace etických kodexů podniků ve stavebnictví. Tato diplomová práce je cílená na zhodnocení existujících etických kodexů ve společnostech v oboru stavebnictví za účelem vytvoření vhodného návrhu etického kodexu společnosti pro zkvalitnění vnitřního podnikového prostředí a identifikovat případná specifika pro tvorbu etických kodexů ve zvoleném odvětví. Etický kodex je tradičním a v dnešní době nejvyužívanějším nástrojem etiky v podnikání. Slouží k zavedení etických principů do fungování společnosti. Je vhodné jej doplnit v závislosti na velikosti podniku i dalšími nástroji pro etické podnikání, jako například vzdělávání v oblasti etiky. V rámci literární rešerše jsou využity tuzemské i zahraniční zdroje odborných článků a výzkumů, které se zabývají tímto tématem. Poté jsou stanoveny výzkumné otázky, které směřují k naplnění stanoveného cíle. V aplikační části diplomové práce je provedena analýza eticky exponovaných situací v sektoru stavebnictví, dále pak komparativní kvalitativní analýza dostupných etických kodexů stavebních společností. Následně je jako případová studie představena stavební firma KOČÍ a.s., její historie a podnikatelská činnost. Pro uvedenou společnost je vytvořena SWOT analýza, která se zaměřuje na stav etického řízení ve společnosti. SWOT analýza je rozdělena na vnější a vnitřní a je zhotovena na základě dotazníkových šetření, polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a recenzí od odběratelů. Následně je navržen etický kodex společnosti a doporučen způsob jeho implementace ve společnosti KOČÍ a.s. Díky provedeným analýzám jsou zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky. V rámci doporučení jsou popsána možná opatření, která dokážou podpořit implementaci etického kodexu do společnosti. Nakonec vznikne doporučení podnikům ve stavebnictví, jak mohou vytvořit a implementovat vhodný etický kodex a jaká možná rizika existují, jestliže není podnik dostatečně důsledný v dodržování etického kodexu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of ethical codes of companies in construction. This diploma thesis is aimed at evaluating existing codes of ethics in companies in the field of construction in order to create a suitable draft code of ethics for improving the internal business environment and identify any specifics for creating codes of ethics in the selected industry. The Code of Ethics is a traditional and currently the most widely used tool of business ethics. It serves to introduce ethical principles into the functioning of society. Depending on the size of the company, it is also appropriate to supplement it with other tools for ethical business, such as ethics education. Within the literary search, domestic and foreign sources of professional articles and research dealing with this topic are used. Then research questions are set, which are aimed at fulfilling the set goal. In the application part of the diploma thesis, an analysis of ethically exposed situations in the construction sector is performed, as well as a comparative qualitative analysis of available ethical codes of construction companies. Subsequently, the construction company KOČÍ a.s., its history and business activities are presented as a case study. A SWOT analysis is created for this company, which focuses on the state of ethical management in the company. The SWOT analysis is divided into external and internal and is made on the basis of questionnaire surveys, semi-structured interviews and reviews from customers. Subsequently, the company's code of ethics is proposed and the method of its implementation in KOČÍ a.s. Thanks to the performed analyzes, research questions are answered. The recommendations describe possible measures that can support the implementation of the code of ethics in society. Finally, recommendations will be made to construction companies on how to develop and implement an appropriate code of ethics and what possible risks exist if the company is not rigorous enough to comply with the code of ethics.
