Susceptibility of selected rye varieties to attack by Claviceps purpurea

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na pěstování žita setého v České republice. Vedle jeho původu a využití bylo popsáno také zastoupení pěstebních ploch a doporučená agrotechnika. Praktická část práce porovnává laboratorní výsledky hodnocení čistoty osiva všech odrůd zkoušených k prvnímu uznání za posledních 10 let. Celkem bylo porovnáno 26 hybridních a 21 populačních odrůd. Největší obsahy námele a jeho zlomků byly pozorovány u hybridních odrůd SU Nasri, Gonello, KWS Magnifico, SU Perforemer a SU Santini. Z populačních odrůd dosáhly poměrně vysokých obsahů námele Lesan, Dańkowskie Diament a Inspector. Výsledky této práce ukazují, že ve většině porovnávaných rocích obsahovaly nejvíce sklerocií námele a jeho zlomků hybridní odrůdy.

Abstract:

The thesis also focuses on the growing rye in the Czech Republic. In addition to its origin and utilization, the amount of cultivation areas and recommended agricultural techniques were also described. The practical part of the work compares the laboratory results of seed purity evaluation of all varieties tested for the first approval of seeds over the last 10 years. Overal lit was compared 26 hybrid and 21 population varieties. The highest ergot contents and its fragments were observed in hybrid varietis SU Nasri, Gonello, KWS Magnifico, SU Perforemer a SU Santini. Among the population varieties Lesan, Dańkowskie Diament a Inspector attained relatively high ergot contents. The resukts of this work show that in most of comapred years the hybrid varieties contained the most ergot sclerotinia and its fragments.
