Evaluation of the investment of the selected company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zhodnocením investice v podobě výstavby haly. V literární rešerši jsou vymezeny základní pojmy v oblasti investic, včetně metod hodnocení, ale také v oblasti udržitelného investování. Následuje metodologická část práce, která specifikuje metody a postupy využité v praktické části práce. Finanční zhodnocení předmětné investice je provedeno prostřednictvím statických a dynamických metod. Dále je sledovaná investice v kontextu celkového jednání podniku posouzena z pohledu environmentálních a sociálních faktorů a faktorů správy podniku (ESG).

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the investment in the form of a hall construction. The literature review defines basic concepts in the field of investment, including evaluation methods, as well as in the field of sustainable investment. This is followed by the methodological part of the thesis which specifies the methods and procedures used in the practical part. The financial evaluation of the investment in question is conducted using static and dynamic methods. Furthermore, the investment is assessed in the context of the company's overall operations from the perspective of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.
