Teaching literacy to newly-arrived immigrant students: analysis of practices and needs in a French primary school
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the question of teaching literacy, which is the capacity to identify, understand and interpret a written text, to newly-arrived allophone students in France. Its aim is to assess the overall situation based on scientific studies and on personal observation during an internship at a French primary school.

Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou četby jako schopnosti identifikovat, porozumět a interpretovat psaný text, a to u nově příchozích žáků-cizinců ve Francii, kteří mají odlišný mateřský jazyk než francouzštinu. Jejím cílem je zmapovat problematiku výuky četby v tomto konkrétním kontextu, a to jak na základě odborných studií, tak podle vlastních observací ze stáže na základním stupni francouzského státního …more
