Literature as a starting point for a workshop within a suburban day camp

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce prozkoumává možnosti využití literární předlohy v dramatickovýchovném procesu v rámci příměstského tábora. Mapuje vznik konkrétní pětidenní dílny od výběru předlohy, přes plánování, až po samotnou realizaci a reflexi. Autor pracoval se skupinou dětí ve věku 9-13 let s různou vstupní úrovní zkušeností s dramatickou výchovou. Cílem bylo provést účastníky příběhem knihy Svěřte případ Kallovi od Astrid Lindgrenové a nabídnout jim skrz to možnost seznámit se s různými metodami a technikami dramatické výchovy a rozvíjet jejich dovednosti v oblasti divadla. Cílem bylo též případně najít potenciální účastníky celoročního kroužku dramatické výchovy. V první části práce jsou představeny výchozí podmínky pro tvorbu a realizaci projektu. Druhá část je věnovaná analýze předlohy. Následující dvě kapitoly popisují plán a realizaci projektu. Poslední část se zaměřuje na zhodnocení dosažených výsledků a jsou v ní předloženy návrhy na změny pro příští realizaci.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis explores possibilites of literature as a starting point for a suburban day camp of drama in education. It offers a thourough insight into a process of a concrete five-day workshop including selection of the literature theme, planning, implementation and a final reflection. The author worked with a group of children aged 9-13 with a different initial level of expirience with drama in education. The goal was to lead the participants through the story of the book Bill Bergson lives dangerously by Astrid Lindgren and to give them an opportunity to get acquainted with various methods and techniques of drama in education and make them develop their skills related to theatre. Another goal was to possibly find potential participants of a year-long weekly drama club. In the first part of the thesis the inital circumstances for the creation and realisation of the project are presented. The second part is dedicated to the analysis of the chosen book. The following two chapters describe the plan and the implementation of the project. The last section is focused on the evaluation of the achieved results and it gives suggestions for changes that could be implemented in potential upcoming realisations.
