The Influence of COVID-19 on the Czech Art Auction Market

Abstract:

Výstižná charakteristika cílů, metod, postupů a závěrů bakalářské práce v rozsahu asi 10 řádků. Tato bakalářská práce popisuje vliv pandemie covid-19 na český aukční trh s uměním. Cílem práce je zachytit proměnu tohoto trhu v období let 2017 – 2021. Pro splnění daného cíle pracuji s následujícími metodami: abstrakce, dedukce a indukce. Kromě těchto všeobecně známých metod dále využívám metody indexní a metody výzkumní. Závěrem práce je popis změn, které za sledované období nastaly, jako například navýšení počtu nových sběratelů, kteří ovlivnili trendy v obratech segmentů výtvarného umění.

Abstract:

Concise review of goals, methods, processes, results and conclusions of the Bachelor´s Thesis This bachelors thesisdescribes the influence of the COVID – 19 pandemic on the czech art market. The goal of this thesis is to display the market change between the years 2017 – 2021. In order to acomplish my goal I have used the following methods: abstraction, deduction and induction. Except of the well known methods I also used index and research methods. The final part of my work is the description of the changes which happened in the researched period as for example the increase of new collectors which had a significant influence on various segments of art.
