Glass fibers and their application
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o historii, výrobě, vlastnostech a použití různých druhů skla. Podrobně jsou popsány jednotlivé skupiny vlastností skla a možnosti jejich zlepšení. Hlavní pozornost je věnována skleněným vláknům, jejich výrobě a použití jako optická vlákna a výztuž do kompozitních materiálů.
Abstract:
This Bc. thesis deals with history, processing, properties, and application of different groups of glasses. There are described groups of properties of glasses and the possibilities of their improvement in detail. Main attension is oriented into glass fibers, their processing and use as the optical fibers and the reinforcement of composite materials.
