Czech hops on world market

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá postavením českého chmele na světovém trhu. Úvod se věnuje teoriím mezinárodního obchodu se zaměřením na obchodování chmelem. Následně je chmel stručně představen jako plodina i s jeho historií. V další části se nachází analýza světového trhu chmele. Jsou vyzdviženi nejvýznamnější producenti chmele, dále i nejdůležitější exportéři a importéři této plodiny. Část práce je věnována také dohodám v rámci Světové obchodní organizace a celním zatížením jednotlivých zemí obchodujících s touto plodinou. Jádrem práce je postavení českého chmele na světovém trhu a aplikace teorií mezinárodního obchodu na obchodování českým chmelem.

Abstract:

This Diploma thesis deals with the position of Czech hops on world market. The beginning focuses on international trade theories related with hops trade. Afterwards, the hops are introduced as a plant full of history. Furthermore, in the thesis I am analysing the international hops market. There are highlighted the most important producers, exporters and importers of hops. The following part of the thesis deals with agreements of World Trade Organization and tariffs that are used for hops in each country. The core of this thesis is analysis of position of Czech hops on the world market and application of international trade theories on trade with Czech hops.
