The sorption properties of the cellulose beads based sorbent

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce přináší bližší informace o vlastnostech sorbentů na bázi perlové celulózy a jejich praktickém využití, konkrétně degradaci organofosfátů na sorbentu. Praktická část mé bakalářské práce spočívá ve sledování vlivu sorbentů na již konkrétní pesticid ze skupiny organofosfátů, na methyl parathion a paraoxon. Vzorky vodných roztoků pesticidu, byly analyzovány pomocí kapalinové chromatografie, tedy metodou HPLC-DAD. Výsledky poté byly posuzovány především z hlediska závislosti sorpčních vlastností na sorbentu. Bylo prokázáno, že sorbent AMD 35 způsobuje rozklad pesticidu ve vodném prostředí. Také se prokázal opakovaný účinek, tedy funguje i jako katalyzátor.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis brings closer information about the properties of sorbents based on pearl cellulose and their practical use, namely the degradation of organophosphates on the sorbent. The practical part of my bachelor thesis lies in observation of the influence of sorbents on a particular pesticide from the organophosphate group, on methyl parathion and paraoxone. The samples of aqueous pesticide solutions were analysed by liquid chromatography, i.e. by HPLC-DAD. The results were then assessed especially from the point of view of the sorption properties on the sorbent. It has been proved that the AMD 35 sorbent causes the decomposition of the pesticide in an aqueous medium. It has also been shown to have a repeat effect, so it acts as a catalyst.
