Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem manažera, který působí v organizacích státní správy a samosprávy a hledá cesty a způsoby, aby se stal úspěšným. Zabývá se manažerem jako vedoucím týmu, jeho manažerskými rolemi, vlastnostmi, které jsou pro úspěch klíčové a také jeho osobností. Práce navrhuje cesty a způsoby dosahování manažerských úspěchů. Ukazuje také na specifika postavení a úlohy manažera v podmínkách organizací veřejné správy. Analyzuje i požadavky na práci manažera u Policie České republiky. V praktické části je provedený a vyhodnocený dotazník, který vyplnilo 45 různých zkušených manažerů z organizací státní správy a samosprávy. V závěru práce je porovnána osobnost úspěšného manažera z hlediska teorie a z výsledků dotazování manažerů a jsou sepsána doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of a manager who works in state administration and local-government organizations and is looking for ways and paths to become successful. It deals with the manager as the team leader, his management roles, the attributes that are key to success as well as his personality. The thesis proposes ways and means of achieving managerial successes. It also shows the specifics of the position and the role of the manager in the conditions of the public administration organizations. It also analyzes the requirements of the manager of the Policie of the Czech Republic. In the practical part, a questionnaire is executed and evaluated, completed by 45 different experienced managers from state administration and local-government organizations. At the end of the thesis is compared the personality od the successful manager from the point of view of the theory and the results of interviewing managers and are written recommendations for practice.
