Shakespeare on stage and screen: King Lear
Abstract:
The thesis is concerned with a work of William Shakespeare, King Lear. The aim of the thesis is to focus on movie adaptations of this tragedy. Further the thesis provides comparison of the play with movie Ran, directed by Japanese director Akira Kurosawa.
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá dílem Williama Shakespeara, které se nazývá Král Lear. Cílem této práce je zaměřit se na filmové adaptace této tragédie. Dále práce nabízí porovnání díla s filmem Ran, režírovaným japonským režisérem Akirou Kurosawou.
