Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá anglickým populárně odborným textem a jeho překladem do českého jazyka. Jako výchozí texty byly vybrány články s ekonomickou tématikou z britského týdeníku The Economist. Samotná práce obsahuje výchozí analýzu původního textu, překlad a následně jeho rozbor po stránce lexikální, syntaktické a textové ekvivalence. This bachelor thesis deals with an English popular professional text and its translation into the Czech language. Three articles were chosen from the British weekly The Economist as initial texts. The thesis comprises of the analysis of the original text, translation and its analysis based on lexical, syntactic and textual equivalence.
