In this thesis, the immobilization of Horseradish peroxidase in polyelectrolyte multilayers prepared by the layer-by-layer approach is studied. The layers have been prepared using polystyrene sulfonate (PSS) and polyallylamine hydrochloride (PAH) dissolved in Tris-buffered saline at different pH levels and in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS).
