Diplomová práce se zabývá opomíjeným fenoménem amatérské umělecké tvorby šlechtičen v kontextu českých zemí přelomu 18. a 19. století, kdy pozorujeme nárůst produkce tohoto typu. První části textu nastiňují podoby diletantismu a výtvarné činnosti žen ve sledovaném období, stejně jako postoje zaujímané k nim soudobou i pozdější odbornou literaturou. The thesis examines the neglected phenomenon of amateur artistic production of noblewomen in the context of the Bohemian lands at the turn of the 19th century, when we register a significant surge in this kind of activity.
