Okun's Law - empirical analysis for selected economy
Abstract:
In this bachelor thesis, we use Okun 's law, which characterizes the relationship of unemployment and economic growth. We will try to confirm or refutethe validity of Okun 's law on data of the Slovak Republic and Slovenia, from the early twentieth century. V tejto bakalárskej práci se venujeme Okunovmu zákonu, ktorý charakterizuje vzťah nezamestnanosti a rastu ekonomiky. Pokúsime sa potvrdiť, alebo vyvrátiť platnosť Okunovho zákona na datách Slovenskej republiky a Slovinska, od začiatku dvadsiateho storočia.
