Behaviour of the company (economic entities) according to the gametheory view

Abstract:

Teorie her je v současné době stále ještě nepříliš známá disciplína, která se dostává do povědomí lidí převážně prostřednictvím vzdělání na vysokých školách. Tato práce popisuje základní východiska teorie her a popisuje konflikty mezi dvěma a více účastníky, ale také konflikty s neinteligentími hráči, kterými jsou například stroje, loterie apod. Hlavním cílem práce je popsání rozhodování ekonomických subjektů v konfliktních situacích. V teoretické části je popsána teorie her nejprve obecně, její vznik a dále jsou rozepsány jednotlivé typy konfliktů. Ve druhé části je prováděno ověřování této teorie na základě získaných poznatků pomocí sociologického průzkumu. Díky modelovým příkladům jsou zde vytvořeny konfliktní situace, ve kterých hráči volí alternativu, která je pro ně z jejich pohledu nejvýhodnější. V závěru práce je provedeno vyhodnocení získaných poznatků a interpretace výsledků.

Abstract:

The Game Theory is still not a very well known branch of applied mathematics, which one comes across for the first time, usually, at the university level. This thesis concentrates on and provides the basic information of the Game Theory, deals with such terms as a two-player and N-player conflicts and conflicts with non-intelligent players, i.e. machines, lotteries, etc. The main goal of this thesis is a depiction of the decision-making (process) of economic entities in conflict situations. The theoretical section contains the description of the Game Theory in general, the formation of this theory and the representation of the conflicts. The second section concentrates on the practical application of this theory and its confrontation backed up by sociological research. By the means of simulating models, the players choose the options that suit them best from their perspective. The thesis concludes by data evaluation and an analysis and interpretation of its results.
