Transportation services of Leo Express Global, a.s.

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce jsou přepravní služby společnosti Leo Express Global, a.s. Nejdříve jsou v práci definovány klíčové pojmy, které se v práci vyskytují, a další důležité charakteristiky spojené s železniční osobní dopravou jako je dopravní politika a infrastruktura, legislativní úprava, dopravní obslužnost a provozování železniční dopravy. Další kapitola se zaobírá analýzou podnikového prostředí, kde je vysvětlena SWOT analýza, škála bodování a Fullerův trojúhelník. Dále je popsána samotná společnost Leo Express Global, a.s. a její přepravní služby. Poslední kapitola je věnována doporučením a možnostem rozvoje společnosti Leo Express Global, a.s., které jsou navrhnuty na základě provedené SWOT analýzy. Cíle této diplomové práce jsou popsat přepravní služby společnosti Leo Express Global, a.s., jakožto jednoho z největších českých dopravců poskytující komplexní řešení v dopravě, a navrhnout doporučení a možnosti rozvoje, které by mohla společnost v budoucnu využít.

Abstract:

The topic of the master´s thesis is transportation services of Leo Express Global, a.s. At the beginning of the thesis are defined the key terms that occur at thesis and other important characteristics related to rail passenger transport such as transport policy, infrastructure, legislation and operation of rail transport. The next chapter deals with the analysis of the corporate environment. In this chapter are explained SWOT analysis, scoring scale and Fuller triangle. Further is described the company itself and its transportation services. The last chapter is dedicated to recommendations and possibilities of development of Leo Express Global, a.s., which are based on SWOT analysis. The aims of the thesis are to describe the transportation services of Leo Express Global, a.s. as one of the largest Czech carriers providing complex transport solutions and propose recommendations and possibilities of development that company could use in the future.
