The personality of the manager in the context of the development of career

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku rozvoje osobnosti manažera z pohledu osobního rozvoje, respektive zejména rozvoje jeho pracovní kariéry. V rámci úvodní teoretické části práce se autor popisuje historii vzniku pojmu manažer a jeho další vývoj, až do současnosti. S odkazem na vhodnou literaturu je představena funkce manažera a rovněž popsán význam a jeho postavení v reálném ekonomickém prostředí, popsány jeho činnosti, funkce, úkoly apod. V úvodu praktické (empirické) části autor představuje cíl výzkumu a základní výzkumné otázky, principy a metody zkoumání. Zásadní pasáž empirické část práce tvoří především sběr konkrétních dat a jejich třídění v rámci zvolené dotazníkové metody zkoumání. Následuje analýza sesbíraných dat a zjištění. V závěrečné části, plynule navazující na část teoretickou, provádí autor krátké shrnutí, navrhuje další možné náměty zkoumání a predikuje vývoj v rámci této oblasti zkoumání.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of personality development of the manager from the point of view of personal development, or especially the development of his working career. In the introductory theoretical part of the thesis, the author describes the history of the term manager and its further development up to the present. With reference to the relevant literature, the functions of the manager and other described meaning and his position in the real economic environment, his activities, functions, tasks, etc. are described. In the introduction of the practical (empirical) part. The basic passage of the empirical part of the work consists mainly in the collection of specific data and their classification within a selected questionnaire of research methods. It consists of an analysis of the data collected and findings. In the final part, he proposes a gas, which follows the theoretical part, performed by the author of a short reduction, other possible research subjects and predicts the development in this area of research.
