Protinádorové účinky proteinu NDRG1 (N-myc downstream-regulated gene 1) jsou předmětem studia již téměř dvě desetiletí. Nedávno byla částečně objasněna jejich role v regulaci EGFR (Epidermal growth factor receptor) signalizace u karcinomu pankreatu. Tumor suppressive effects of NDRG1 (N-myc downstream-regulated gene 1) protein have been the subject of study for almost two decades. Recently, its role in the regulation of EGFR (Epidermal growth factor receptor) signaling pathway in pancreatic carcinoma has been partially elucidated.
