The atlas of rural development - municipality with extended competences of Vsetín

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá venkovskými obcemi na území SO ORP Vsetín. Cílem práce je zhodnocení venkovských obcí v SO ORP Vsetín na základě jejich demografických, sociálních a ekonomických charakteristik. Vybrané charakteristiky vychází ze statistických dat pro roky 2006 až 2020 a jsou prezentovány ve formě mapových výstupů. Práce je tak založena na analýze dat s využitím GIS, kdy zdrojem dat je především Český statistický úřad. První část práce se zaměřuje na definice pojmů stěžejních pro tuto práci. Jsou definovány pojmy z oblasti kartografie či rozvoje venkova. Ve druhé části je charakterizováno zkoumané území. Dále jsou popsány vybrané charakteristiky venkovských obcí SO ORP Vsetín doplněné o mapové výstupy. Práce hledá odpověď na otázky: Ve kterých venkovských obcích je situace z hlediska demografických a socioekonomických charakteristik nejlepší a nejhorší? Existuje mezi danými charakteristikami souvislost? Nejlepší je situace v obcích, které leží v blízkosti města Vsetína a v obcích, které mají dobrou dopravní polohu. Nejhorší situace pak panuje v obcích, které jsou od města Vsetín nejvzdálenější a mají horší dopravní polohu. Demografické a socioekonomické charakteristiky spolu souvisí, přičemž horší hodnota demografických ukazatelů se odráží v nepříznivém socioekonomickém prostředí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the rural municipalities in the territory of municipality with extended competences of Vsetín. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the rural municipalities in SO ORP Vsetín on the basis of their demographic, social and economic characteristics. Selected characteristics are based on statistical data for the years 2006 to 2020 and they are presented in the form of maps. The work is based on data analysis using GIS. The source of data is mainly the Czech Statistical Office. The first part focuses on the definition of key concepts for this work. There are included terms from cartography or rural development. In the second part there is a characteristic of SO ORP Vsetín. Furthermore, there are described selected characteristics of the rural municipalities in this territoy supplemented with map outputs. The thesis focuses on which rural municipalities have the best demographic and socio-economic characteristics and which the worst and if there is a relation between those characteristics. The best characteristics have municipalities which are located near the town of Vsetín and municipalities which have a good transport location. On the other hand, municipalities which are located the furthest from the town of Vsetín and have a worse transport location have the worst characteristics. Demographic and socio-economic characteristics are related. The worse value of demographic indicators is reflected in the unfavourable socio-economic environment.
