Fundamental analysis of the company Alphabet Inc.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje fundamentální analýze akcie společnosti Alphabet Inc. Rozdělil jsem ji na tři části podle úrovně analýzy (globální, odvětvová, firemní). V první části práce se věnuji makroekonomickým veličinám a jejich vlivu na akciové trhy ve Spojených státech amerických, konkrétně vlivu na akciový index NASDAQ 100. Ve druhé části analýzy se zaměřuji na postavení společnosti v technologickém odvětví a na charakteristiku a vývoj tohoto odvětví. V poslední části pomocí několika modelů počítám vnitřní hodnotu akcie společnosti a na závěr vytvářím investiční doporučení na základě srovnání s aktuálním tržním kurzem akcie.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the fundamental analysis of Alphabet Inc. I have divided it into three parts according to the level of analysis (global, sectoral, corporate). In the first part of the thesis, I discuss macroeconomic variables and their impact on stock markets in the United States, specifically the impact on the NASDAQ 100 stock index. In the second part of the analysis, I focus on the company's position in the technology sector and the characteristics and evolution of this sector. In the last part, I use several models to calculate the intrinsic value of the company's stock and conclude with an investment recommendation based on a comparison with the current market price of the stock.
