The idea of freedom in the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and its impact on ethics.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci zkoumáme pojetí svobody Friedricha Nietzscheho, německého filosofa 19. století. Budeme porovnávat a interpretovat pasáže různých Nietzscheho děl, ve kterých zmiňuje, či se zabývá svobodou. Nejdříve se podíváme na význam pojmu svoboda v různých filosofických slovnících. Následně se stručně podíváme na Nietzscheho život. Třetí kapitolou si uvedeme a analyzujeme tři různá díla, každé pocházející z jednoho Nietzscheho myšlenkového období: Zrození tragédie z ducha hudby, Radostná věda a Genealogie morálky: Polemika. V poslední kapitole se budeme zabývat stěžejním tématem této bakalářské práce, a sice pojetím svobody v Nietzscheho díle.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis we examine the understanding of freedom of Friedrich Nietzsche, a German philosopher of the 19th century. We will compare and interpret passages of various Nietzsche's works in which he mentions or writes about freedom. First, we look at the meaning of freedom in various philosophical dictionaries. Then, we look briefly at Nietzsche's life. By the third chapter we present and analyze three different works, each one of Nietzsche's thought period: The Birth of Tragedy from the Spirit of Music, Joyful Wisdom and On the Genealogy of Morality: A Polemic. In the last chapter, we will deal with the key theme of this bachelor thesis, the conception of freedom in Nietzsche's work.
