Development of a new product or service and its testing - Web 3.0

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá vývojem společností Microsoft, Meta a Google a vstupem do rozhraní Web 3.0 a metaverse. Cílem této práce je zjistit a analyzovat, jak se světové společnosti Microsoft, Meta a Google připravují na vstup do rozhraní Web 3.0 a metaverse. V teoretické části své práce rozebírá historii internetu, aby došlo ke správnému pochopení vývoje daného tématu, dále vysvětluji pojmy metaverse a web 3.0 a jejich dílčí komponenty, z nichž se skládají. V empirické části je zpracováno, jak se světové společnosti Microsoft, Meta a Google připravují na vstup do této technologické budoucnosti. U každé společnosti autor popisuje a rozebírá klíčové prvky jimiž jsou: virtuální realita, kryptoměny, umělá inteligence, NFT a akvizice společností.

Abstract:

This thesis explores the evolution of Microsoft, Meta and Google and the entry into Web 3.0 and the metaverse. The aim of this thesis is to identify and analyse how the global companies Microsoft, Meta and Google are preparing to enter the Web 3.0 interface and metaverse. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I discuss the history of the Internet in order to have a proper understanding of the development of the topic, and I explain the concepts of the metaverse and Web 3.0 and the sub-components that make them up. The empirical part elaborates how the global companies Microsoft, Meta and Google are preparing to enter this technological future. For each company, the author describes and discusses the key elements, which are: virtual reality, cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, NFT and company acquisitions.
