The issue of cyberbullying among elementary school students in the South Moravian region

Abstract:

Obsah této bakalářské práce se zabývá problematikou kyberšikany na vybraných základních školách v Jihomoravském kraji. Část teoretická se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmů šikany a kyberšikany. Nedílnou součástí teoretické části, je také kapitola popisující dopady kyberšikany. V rámci teoretické části se pozornost dále zaměřuje na sociální sítě a jejich rizikovost. Na závěr teoretické části bude popsána závislost a prevence na sociálních sítích. Teoretická část souží jako podklad pro tvorbu praktické části této práce. Praktická část je zaměřena na metodologický výzkum, který zahrnuje stanovení výzkumného cíle, klíčových otázek výzkumu a hypotéz. Na tomto základě je výzkumnou metodou zvolen kvantitativní výzkum pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Tyto výzkumné otázky a hypotézy jsou následně přijaty nebo vyvráceny na základě vyhodnocení měřitelných dat z dotazníkového šetření. Cílem dané práce je zhodnotit, komparovat a identifikovat problematiku kyberšikany u žáků vybraných základních škol v Jihomoravském kraji. Součásti cíle práce je také navrhnout řešení k potlačení výskytu kyberšikany, primárně na sociálních sítích.

Abstract:

The content of this bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cyberbullying in selected primary schools in the South Moravian Region. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the concepts of bullying and cyberbullying. An integral part of the theoretical part is also a chapter describing the effects of cyberbullying. The theoretical part also focuses on social networks and their risks. At the end of the theoretical part, addiction and prevention on social networks will be described. The theoretical part serves as a basis for the development of the practical part of this thesis. The practical part focuses on the methodological research, which includes the determination of the research aim, key research questions and hypotheses. On this basis, the research method chosen is quantitative research using a questionnaire survey. These research questions and hypotheses are then accepted or refuted based on the evaluation of the measurable data from the questionnaire survey. The aim of the present study is to evaluate, compare and identify the issue of cyberbullying among pupils of selected primary schools in the South Moravian Region. Part of the aim of the thesis is also to propose solutions to curb the occurrence of cyberbullying, primarily on social media.
