Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, zda existuje souvislost mezi výší výdajů vynaložených na výzkum a vývoj a profitabilitou či tržní hodnotou farmaceutických společností. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether there is a relationship between the amount of research and development expenses and the profitability or market value of pharmaceutical companies. To do so, a simple linear regression of the data set of the 16 most important pharmaceutical companies in terms of sales is used.
