Práce mapuje literární postavy robotů a androidů v díle předního Amerického autora science fiction, Philipa K. Dicka. Autor práce se pokusil na základě literární analýzi vysvětlit, jak lze charakterizovat Dickovi androidy, a jakou symboliku nabízejí. Výstupem mělo být zhodnocení Dickova přínosu světové literatuře. The thesis explores literary characters of robots and androids in the work of Philip K. Dick, one of the most esteemed American science-fiction writers. The author will by means of literary analysis define Dick´s androids and their symbolism. The outcome of the work should be the evaluation of Dick´s work.
