Possibilities of social work in the context of poor eating habits of children in socially disadvantaged families

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce jsou možnosti sociální práce v kontextu špatných stravovacích návyků dětí v sociálně znevýhodněných rodinách. Teoretická část je zaměřena na základní pojmy, tedy rodina a její definice, sociální politika, finanční situace rodin a znevýhodněné rodiny. Dále je také teoretická část věnována civilizačním chorobám, které jsou ovlivněné špatným stravováním, funkcím výživových poraden a formování stravovacích návyků. V praktické části jsou uvedeny aspekty ovlivňující zdraví dětí následkem nevhodného stravování a řešení již vzniklých problémů. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak rodiny ovlivňují stravovací návyky dětí, jaký mohou mít vliv na jejich zdraví a jak pomocí sociálního poradenství snížit či zabránit riziku zdravotních potíží u nevhodně stravujících se dětí. Dílčím cílem je poukázat na případné možnosti spolupráce sociálních pracovníků s výživovými poradci a rodinami, které řeší stravovací potíže svých dětí.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is: "Possibilities of social work in the context of poor eating habits of children in socially disadvantaged families." The theoretical part of the work is focused on basic concepts, ie the family and its definition, social policy, financial situation of families and disadvantaged families. Furthermore, the theoretical part is devoted to diseases of civilization affected by poor diet, the function of nutritional counseling and the formation of eating habits. The practical part presents aspects affecting the health of children as a result of inappropriate eating and solving problems that have already arisen. The aim of the work is to find out how families influence the eating habits of children and what they can affect their health and how to reduce or prevent the risk of health problems in poorly eating children through social counseling. The partial goal is to point out the possible possibilities of cooperation of social workers with nutrition counselors and families who solve their children's eating problems
