Survey of silicon radiation detectors
Abstract:
Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku detekce a měření radioaktivity s použitím polovodičových detektorů. Práce obsahuje popis jednotlivých detekovatelných druhů záření a vysvětluje proces interakce záření v materiálech. Na závěr je provedeno shrnutí dostupných typů detektorů s ohledem na jejich vlastnosti a vhodnost použití.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis presents the basic principles of radiation detection and measurement by using semiconductor detectors. Thesis describes common types of detectable radiation and it explains interaction of ionizing radiation in different materials. In conclusion there is comparison of different radiation detectors with respect to their properties and usage.
