Claim Management

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je „Řízení pohledávek“ v obchodní společnosti. Tato práce si klade za cíl uceleně popsat a analyzovat problematiku řízení pohledávek v konkrétní společnosti a navrhnout vhodná řešení, která by mohla být pro společnost prospěšná. Zvolené kroky k dosažení cíle jsou rešerše odborné literatury, deskripce a analýza dané problematiky, rozbory ekonomických ukazatelů, komparace platební morálky portfolia odběratelů a komparace obchodní společnosti s analýzou odvětví Factoring ČSOB. Autorka práce přistoupila k tématu řízení pohledávek velmi kriticky a snahou bylo nalezení chyb a nedostatků. Analýzami se potvrdilo, že až na drobné nedostatky si společnost ABC s.r.o. v řízení pohledávek vede dobře. Zásadním okamžikem bylo zpracování první hypotézy, kde byly odhaleny zásadní nedostatky nezajištění exportů do rizikových oblastí a byla navrhnuta a odsouhlasena okamžitá náprava. Zjištěné závěry v souvislosti s druhou hypotézou týkající se „šikanózních“ insolvenčních návrhů byly alarmující a apelující na stát, aby dokázal ochránit obchodní společnosti před těmito nekalými praktikami.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is “Claim Management” in a business company. The objective of the thesis is to coherently describe and analyse the issue of claim management in a specific company and to propose suitable solutions that could be useful for the company. The objective is to be achieved by background research of professional literature, description and analysis of the given issue, analyses of economic indicators, comparisons of payment behaviour of a portfolio of suppliers and comparisons of the business company with an analysis of Factoring ČSOB. The author of the thesis has a critical approach to the topic of claim management and she strived to find errors and deficiencies. The analyses confirmed that ABC s.r.o. has a very good claim management, except for minor deficiencies. The preparation of the first hypothesis was a significant moment as it discovered major deficiencies in the failure to secure exports into risk areas; immediate remedy was suggested and approved. The revealed conclusions in relation with the second hypothesis concerning “bullying” insolvency proposals was alarming and encouraging the state to be able to protect business companies from such unfair practices.
