Multiplatform 3D molecular structure editor

Abstract:

V předložené diplomové práci jsou prezentovány nově vytvořené funkce multiplatformního 3D editoru molekulárních struktur. V práci jsou popsány teoretické podklady nezbytné pro pochopení problematiky nově implementovaných funkcí. Dále jsou popsány programovací techniky, jazyky a vybrané knihovny s ohledem na vytvořenou aplikaci. Součástí práce je také rozsáhlý popis nově vytvořeného pluginu CicadaPreparationPlugin. Tento plugin umožňuje připravovat vstupní soubory pro výpočetní program Cicada, který je určený pro konformační analýzu molekul. V další části jsou předloženy výsledky testování výpočetních schopností programu Cicada.

Abstract:

In this work, the newly developed functionality of multiplatform 3D editor of molecular structures is presented. The thesis describes theoretical bases important for understanding of newly developed functions. The theoretical part also describes programming techniques, languages, and libraries with main focus towards developed application. The thesis also includes detailed description of the newly developed plugin CicadaPreparationPlugin. This plugin enables in comfortable way to prepare input data for computational program Cicada, which was designed for conformational analysis of molecules. The last part of diploma thesis includes results of the testing of computational capabilities of Cicada program.
