Applying assertiveness in the communication of nursery teachers

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám asertivitou a jejím uplatněním v komunikaci učitelů mateřských škol. Bakalářská práce má dvě části-teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část pojednává o osobnosti učitelů mateřských škol, o různých typech chování a samozřejmě o asertivitě samotné. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na asertivitu u učitelů mateřských škol. Výzkumná část se zakládá na rozhovorech s pěti učitelkami mateřské školy. Cíle mé bakalářské práce jsou popsat, jak učitelé MŠ definují asertivitu, pasivní a agresivní jednání, zjistit, kolik z dotazovaných učitelů MŠ se považuje za asertivní osobnost a analyzovat vývoj asertivního jednání u zkoumaných učitelů.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I deal with assertiveness and its application in communication of nursery teachers. The bachelor thesis has two parts-theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the personality of nursery teachers, about different types of behavior and of course about assertiveness itself. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on assertiveness in nursery teachers. The practical part is based on interviews with five nursery teachers. The aims of my bachelor thesis are to describe how nursery teachers define assertiveness, passive and aggressive behavior, find out how many of the nursery teachers interviewed are considered assertive personality and analyze the progression of assertive behavior in the examined teachers.
