Influence of the mental form of home acts of violence on children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Vliv psychické formy domácího násilí na děti v rodině se věnuje problematice psychického týrání v z pohledu svědků – dětí, které vyrůstaly v atmosféře psychického násilí a nejvíce zdůrazňuji vliv, který u nich přetrvává do dospělosti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí: Teoretická část je věnována vymezení pojmů domácího násilí a hlavně složky psychického týrání. Snažila jsem se poukázat na nedostatečnost specifikace a hlubších výzkumů zaměřených čistě na psychické násilí. V praktické části jsem se pokusila objasnit dopad psychického týrání na konkrétní lidské osudy. Za tímto účelem jsem využila metodu rozhovorů, které jsem provedla se svědky psychického násilí v rodinách. Analýza, jež je hlavní částí výzkumné oblasti práce je provedena metodou zakotvené teorie. Na základě této analýzy jsem mohla popsat, jak se zkušenost s psychickým násilím odrazila v životě obětí.

Abstract:

The master thesis Influence of the mental form of home acts of violence on children in the family deals with problems of mental cruelty from the view of witnesses – children, who grew up in the atmosphere of mental anguish with a greater emphasis on the influence, which persists through the adulthood. The paper contains two principal parts: Theoretical part addresses the delimitation of the home acts of violence conceptions, terms, especially the component of mental cruelty. In this part, I tried to point out the absence specifications and deeper researches dealing solely with mental cruelty. The practical part intends to illustrate the impact of mental anguish on individuals. To achieve this, I used the interview method and interviewed people who had witnessed mental cruelty in their families. The data, I received this way, were then elaborated using the open, axial and selective coding. On the basis of this analysis, I was able to describe how the impact of mental cruelty is reflected in the victims´ lives.
