Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá charakteristikou dôchodkového systému na Slovensku – jeho jednotlivých pilierov a ich právnou úpravou. Poskytuje tiež prehľad o vývoji sociálneho zabezpečenia na našom území od jeho počiatkov až po súčasnosť pričom osobitnú pozornosť venuje dôchodkovej reforme, ktorá u nás prebehla v uplynulých rokoch.
