Youth and its vision of life in old age

Abstract:

Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a empirické. V teoretické části jsme se snažili přiblížit a objasnit problematiku postavení seniorů ve společnosti hlavně v souvislosti s demografickými změnami stárnoucí populace. Popisujeme změny nejen sociální, ale i psychické a tělesné. Zabýváme se mezigeneračním sporem a solidaritou mezi jednotlivými generacemi. Východiskem pro teoretickou část je studium literatury z oblasti vývojové psychologie mládeže a seniorů, psychologie stáří a gerontologie. Hlavním cílem empirické části je snaha zjistit negativní či pozitivní postoje mladé generace na konkrétních školách odlišného typu. V práci je popsán výzkumný vzorek, metody výzkumu, grafické zpracování šetření, komentář k jednotlivým výsledkům, shrnutí dosažených výsledků a vyvrácení či potvrzení hypotéz souvisejících s problematikou stárnutí. Výzkumný vzorek byl sestaven ze studentů gymnázia a vybrané skupiny žáků učebních oborů. Potřebná data byla získána pomocí dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The abstract is devided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. It the the-oretical part, we have tried to describe and clarify the problematics of the seniors? role in the society, mainly in the context of the demographic changes of the aging generation. We describe the social changes as well as the mental and physical changes. We deal with the problems of the generation gap and solidarity among particular generations. The solution for the theoretical part is the studying of the literature considering the evolutional psychology, the psychology of youth and seniors, the psychology of the old age and gerontology. The aim of the empirical part is to find out the negative or positive attitude of the youth in the specific schools of different types. It the abstract there are described the research sample, the methods of the research, graphical processing of the survey, commentary to the particular results, summary of the reached results and disprooving or prooving of the hypothesis related ro the problematics of the aging. The research sample was assembled from the students of the grammar school and from the chosen group of the apprenticeships. The necessery data were obtained by the questionnaire survey.
