Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá stigmatizací osob s duševním onemocněním během návratu do pracovního procesu. Protože oblast stigmatizování ze strany profesionálů pečujících o duševně nemocné je pokryta střídmě, jako cílovou skupinu jsme vybrali pracovníky služeb podpory zaměstnání. Celkový vzorek čítá 9 respondentů, zaměstnanců různých forem podpory, které jsou k dispozici v neziskovém sektoru. Design práce je kvalitativní, data jsou sesbírána pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. S každým respondentem proběhl jeden rozhovor, v rozhovorech jsme zjišťovali postoje respondentů k duševnímu onemocnění a k úspěchu klientů podpory, abychom mohli sledovat stereotypní nebo stigmatizační prvky v jejich výpovědích. Z analýzy pomocí otevřeného kódování jsme vygenerovali 5 hlavních témat opakujících se ve všech rozhovorech. Z výpovědí se neukázalo, že by pracovníci služeb měli sklony ke stigmatizování osob s duševním onemocněním, opakoval se však jev, dle kterého očekávají stigmatizaci svých klientů během začleňování do zaměstnání, a tím z našeho pohledu mohou ovlivňovat celý proces pracovní rehabilitace a zároveň nechtěně potvrzovat proces stigmatizační.

Abstract:

Present thesis is focused on stigmatization of people with mental illness during their return back to the working process. The field of stigmatization from professionals who take care of mentally ill people is rarely covered, therefore we chose to target employees of the employment support services. Final sample contains 9 respondents, employees of various models of support, that are available in a non-profit sector. Design of this study is qualitative, the data were collected using semi-structured interviews. One interview was conducted with each respondent. The emphasis was put on the respondent’s attitudes towards mental illness and to success of clients of the services, so we could observe stereotypical or stigmatizing elements in their answers. The analysis via open coding generated 5 main themes, shared in all of the interviews. The answers did not indicate for the workers to have a tendency to stigmatize people with mental illness, however, expectations of stigmatization of their clients during the process of employment integration were common. By those expectations, we believe they could affect occupational rehabilitation as a whole, and at the same time they could inadvertently approve the process of stigmatization.
