Vady účetnictví jednotek účtujících ve zjednodušeném rozsahu dle § 13 zákona o účetnictví

Abstract:

Účetnictví je důležitý nástroj pro předávání přehledných a smysluplných informací vypovídající o hospodářském subjektu. Informace plynoucí z účetnictví jsou důležité nejen pro podnik samotný, ale také pro jeho uživatele. Musí se tedy jednat o kvalitní informace, které věrně a poctivě zobrazují dění v podniku. Aby byly informace kvalitní, musí být účetnictví vedeno v souladu s platnou legislativou. Základním právním předpisem upravující účetnictví je především zákon č. 563/1991 Sb. Zákon o účetnictví. Cílem práce bylo identifikovat nejčastější vady ve vedení účetnictví účetních jednotek, které účtují ve zjednodušeném rozsahu podle §13 zákona o účetnictví. Pro splnění cíle byla použita obsahová analýza, komparace a statistické metody. Sledované a analyzované byly základní požadavky a povinnosti ve vedení účetnictví, náležitosti účetních dokladů a také účetní závěrka. Výsledkem bylo zjištění, že nejčastějšími nedostatky, jež mají účetní jednotky ve svém účetnictví, jsou scházející náležitosti na účetních dokladech, zcela chybějící účetní doklady, nesprávně zaúčtované doklady či neúčtované doklady. Tyto nedostatky byly dále analyzovány pro určení jejich dopadů na informace z účetnictví vycházejících. Na základě zjištěných nejčastějších vad a jejich dopadů na věrnost a poctivost účetnictví byly stanoveny a doporučeny mechanismy, které vedou k odstranění těchto nedostatků. Díky zjištěným může být hospodářský subjekt upozorněn na nejčastější vady a může se na základě doporučení těmto nedostatkům vyvarovat. Výsledky práce mohou být limitovány využívanými technologiemi, geografickými či politickými vlivy, velikostí zkoumaných hospodářských subjektů či samotnou účetní jednotkou.

Abstract:

Accounting is a crucial tool for conveying clear and meaningful information about an economic entity.The information derived from accounting is important not only for the enterprise itself but also for its users. Accounting information must be trustworthy and reflect the business's operations honestly. To ensure quality information, accounting must be carried out in accordance with applicable legislation. The basic legislation regulating accounting is Act No. 563/1991 Coll. On accounting. The most prevalent accounting errors found in companies that maintain simplified accounts in line with Section 13 of the Accounting Act were identified in this study. This was accomplished through the use of content analysis, comparison, and statistical methods. Accounting requirements, accounting document requirements, and financial statements were monitored and analyzed. The use of these methods revealed that the most common deficiencies accounting units have are missing requirements on accounting documents. Others deficiencies are missing accounting documents, incorrectly booked documents, and unaccounted for documents. These deficiencies were further analyzed to determine their impact on accounting information. Mechanisms for eliminating the most common deficiencies were established and recommended based on the identified most common deficiencies and their impact on accounting accuracy and honesty. Because of the identified deficiencies, the economic entity can be alerted to the most common deficiencies and avoid them based on the recommendations. The results of this work may be limited by the technologies used, geographical or political influences, the size of the examined economic entities, or the accounting unit itself.
