Influence of the water reservoir Šance on the everydayness of the population

Abstract:

The main focus of this diploma thesis is a description of life, before and after the displacement of the selected area in a locality Staré Hamry, based on an analysis of displaced people's life stories, the available archival sources, literature and the press, and other visual sources ( photos, etc. ). The thesis tracks and renders possible cultural, social or other changes in the everyday life of the respondents and the formation of their historical consciousness and perception in relation to particular historical process, as they keep with the passage of time, due to environmental updates. It compares the statements with the interpretation of these events in print and available sources. It also tracks possible conversion and shaping local identity of displaced people and links to the original site and it's the place and meaning in personal life of informers.

Abstract:

Hlavným cieľom diplomovej práce je snaha o rekonštrukciu obrazu každodennosti zúčastnených, pred a po vysídlení vybranej oblasti v lokalite Staré Hamry, na základe analýzy ich životných príbehov, dostupných archívnych prameňov, literatúry a tlače a iných vizuálnych prameňov (fotografie a pod.). Práca tiež sleduje možné kultúrne, sociálne či iné zmeny v každodennosti respondentov a formovanie ich historického vedomia a vnímania vo vzťahu k určitým historickým procesom, tak ako ich uchovávajú s odstupom času a ktoré sú zapríčinené environmentálnou zmenu. Práca porovnáva získané výpovede s interpretáciou týchto udalostí v tlači a dostupných prameňoch. Sleduje i možné premeny vo formovaní lokálnej identity presídlených osôb, ich väzby k pôvodnej lokalite a ich miesto a význam v osobnom živote informátorov.
