Analysis of Hotel System Fidelio

Abstract:

V mé diplomové práci zjišťujeme vývoj, funkce a význam informačních systémů a uplatnění hotelových systémů na současném trhu cestovního ruchu obecně. Uvádíme přímé propojení systémů s marketingem a managementem. Nesmíme opomenout ani uvedení konkurenčních systémů. V neposlední řadě se věnujeme charakteristice samotného hotelového systému Fidelio, jeho verzím a hlavním funkcím. Pokoušíme se odpovědět na otázku, zda je v dnešní době vůbec možné provozovat ubytovací zařízení bez přítomnosti hotelového systému i s ohledem na budoucnost. Za cíl diplomové práce jsme si stanovili efektivní zhodnocení hotelového systému Fidelio, jeho využití v praxi a dále se na základě metody dotazování podívat na celou věc nejen z pohledu samotných poskytovatelů hotelového software, ale i z pohledu obsluhujícího pracovníka.

Abstract:

In my work we can see the development, function and significance of information systems and hotel systems that are generally applied in today's tourism market. We explain how the hotel system, marketing and management are interrelated. We must not forget the introduction to the competing systems. Last but not least, we describe the characteristics of the actual hotel system Fidelio, its releases and key functions. We will also try to answer the question whether it possible today to manage an inn without the presence a hotel system with respect to the future. As the objective of the thesis, we have established an effective evaluation Fidelio hotel system, its application in practice and then, based on the methods of inquiry we look at the whole subject, not only from the perspective of the providers of hotel software, but also from the hotels operator's point of view.
