Téma bakalářské práce je trest smrti. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem trest smrti, jaké formy trestu smrti existovaly a ještě dnes existují. Dalším bodem práce je historie trestu smrti na území Československa od samotného zavedení až po rok 1990, kdy došlo k jeho zrušení. V práci je dále uvedena problematika trestu smrti ve světě. The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the capital punishment. The theoretical part explains the term itself, also studies various forms of the death penalty in the past and in the present. Another subject of the thesis is the history of the death penalty in Czechoslovakia from its implementation to its abolition in 1990.
