Analysis of the customer satisfaction in a restaurant

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda jsou zákazníci restaurace U Katakomb spokojeni s poskytovanými službami a odhalit případné nedostatky. Pro účely této práce byly stanoveny výzkumné otázky zaměřené na jednotlivé faktory ovlivňující celkovou spokojenost, na ochotu doporučení a návštěvnost zákazníků. K šetření bylo využito marketingového výzkumu provedeného formou dotazování metodou PAPI. Respondenti byli vybíráni systematickým výběrem, celkem se jich zapojilo 102. Výzkumem byla zjištěna celková spokojenost zákazníků, jejíž hodnota v průměru činila 1,74 z 5. Mezi faktory, se kterými byli zákazníci nejvíce spokojeni patřilo správné vyřízení objednávky, lokalita restaurace, čistota interiéru a ochota personálu. Podle analýzy korelace však bylo zjištěno, že na celkovou spokojenost mají největší vliv faktory týkající se pokrmů, konkrétně jejich dochucení, kvalita a pestrý výběr z menu. Průměrné hodnocení těchto aspektů se pohybovalo kolem hodnoty 2.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis aims to find out whether the customers in restaurant U Katakomb are satisfied with the provided service or whether they have any complaints. For the purpose of this thesis research questions were set. These questions were focused on factors affecting overall satisfaction, willingness to recommend the restaurant to others and customer attendance. The survey was based on marketing research using PAPI questioning. Respondents were selected using the systematic selection. In total 102 respondents took part in the research. The average rating of the overall customer satisfaction was 1,74 out of 5. Customers were mostly satisfied with the proper way of order processing, the location of the restaurant, tidiness of the interior and staff helpfulness. Using correlation analysis, meals were found to have the greatest impact on the overall satisfaction. More specifically, it was the flavour, quality and the variety of meals in menu. The average rating of these aspects was around 2.
